Turns out there's been a misunderstanding, when Reyo asked me if he could get a "last post" I told him yes because usually you do, and as he told me it's typical in Mafia games I thought he knew it was just for rp. I have to admit, the way I told him might have been misleading, and I didn't understand when he asked "a last post to report things" so that's also my fault as well.

Yipeee, my first Mafia game and I screw things up ... twice ! If you're looking for me I'll be on the plank.

fuck this shit

Hey, so uh. Holy fuck.

I really don't know what to say, except that it doesn't matter that Barabba grossly misused his powers to frame me now that I'm dying tomorrow night anyway. All I've got to say is that I'm innocent, but ha ha! Barabba's an asshole so I'm dead anyway. Fuck that guy, would have been great if he'd taken his role seriously.

Well... if Barabba lied, there's not all that much we can do. Lynch him again?

but uh, in the meantime, just as advice and all that

since I'm already basically dead from poisoning (cough /u000 cough) don't go wasting a day and letting the mafia get ahead by lynching me, that's basically a late-game no lynch which is never a very good plan

since we can be sure Reyo was who he claimed, his information is also probably good so you can almost certainly find someone to go after in there? or the speculation coming out about who visited who that Reyo didn't manage to see

There, now. Is it unreasonable to think I would have suspected Barabba was lying and voted for him when he WAS lying?

We're basically back to square one. All our leads are exhausted, and nobody's made any suspicious moves. Barabba messing with us for no actual reason fucks up the only leads we had: people who found him suspicious.
Maybe we should look at who was defending him? Since they'd have known Ycobb's actual role. But that would have to wait until tomorrow for us to see what the hell it actually is.

People defending Barabba would have known my actual role? Or would have known his?

Oh jeez that was a leap. Remind me not to post at 3:40 AM anymore.
My logic went something like
They know who is and isn't scum -> Barabba Posts saying you're scum -> People who agreed with him are jumping at the opportunity to throw suspicion onto someone.
Doesn't make much sense after some sleep though.

Alright, so. Here's my theory so far. Now that Barabba has all but confirmed my innocence, I feel safe enough saying that I'm not poisoned. I was visited by /u000 last night, as Reyo said, but Granny Benson also visited me and since he's the jailer I was protected.

Putting this together with what Reyo was able to tell us before he died, Cori was visited on Night 1 by:
-Barabba (First Mate/Investigator)
-Granny Benson (jailer)
-Marcato

So what was Marcato doing there? Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the only remaining roles that can visit people are Seductress and Mutineer. Since Benson says he was seduced that night, I propose that Marcato is the mutineer. We could suspect Benson of something shady here, but his name will be demonstrably cleared when the poison doesn't kill me tomorrow.

Any counterarguments, Marcato?

And Benson, if it's not too much to ask I'd like to request that you protect me again tonight. I have other suspicions about who the Mutineer could be (if not Marcato) and if I'm right, I'd like to be in a position to bring it up tomorrow.

Wouldn't someone visited by the mutineer go over to their side? Not knowing the roles on day one, it might make sense for them to grab the captain.
