So, the current run of the comic was always intended to be a rough draft of sorts, but there are so many things that I really want to go back and fix that I just decided that while it'll be slow-going (as if it isn't already anyways?), I'll restart it now, since I haven't updated the other run for about three months anyway.
Starting by trying to get my faces a touch more consistent per character, I've got a page full of Becanovic, and I'm kind of liking the way that the pencil brush looks better than the harder lines that the other draft had. Testing a few different shade/color methods, I'm kind of leaning toward using a neater version of the pencil stroke shading, and then implementing color for important things.
If anyone has opinions on what to do, go ahead

Big one where you can actually see the texture:

Don't know for sure when I'll actually start the next run of the story. probably after I've gotten a fairly consistent set of faces for each main character.

Round two. I decided I like the more painted shading rather than the penciled. This is still done entirely on the computer. Once I have a desk when I move next week, I'll try drawing on paper and then cleaning it up on the computer.
Kane turned out looking a little more 20's than what I had intended, but whatever. I think I might have made the hat too small too. I can never tell with hats.

So I challenged myself to draw a really big picture with lots of people, figures, expressions and colours.
I'd like some feedback on anything I can do to really push it a little farther or if it looks complete.

Um, you're not going to like this one, but a lot of the human-looking characters have weirdly different proportions that can't really be explained by perspective. Mainly to do with the size of faces, but the lady wearing the coif in particular is suddenly like, super tiny with a face that's too big to fit in with the characters that are more similarly built.
I love the way that the orc lady and the wood on the table turned out though.

I love the depth and posing! Watch out for tangents though, the heel of the right foot just barely blends in with the left leg, it took me a second to read what was what. Otherwise it's very well done.

Sometimes I get dumb ideas
Holy jpg artifacts Batman, I don't know why but making the picture any smaller makes it look pretty bad, so I'll link it instead for the full size to keep some damage control?
Hey hey hey JoJo, ya think ya got what it takes to beat us?!

I can't upload the image to dropbox and get a public link from my phone, so y'all will have to deal with some shameless self-promotion for a bit.
Context: I have taken up the goal of drawing at least one """""well-inked""""" picture every week in calculus class. Good practice schedule, helps me focus.
EDIT: oh hey Flying Giraffe, I just realized I never responded to your comment. Yeah, I tried to add in a bit of a distinction (the outside edge changes direction a bit where they meet) but it unfortunately didn't come out clear enough. Since I posted it I've done a bit of revising, which includes fixing the leg but is mostly just line thickening, but I haven't gotten around to putting it up yet.

Well to be fair he did consider that movie to be too recent but everyone wanted him to review it.

The comic isnt about the Critic specifically, its about this annoying culture the Internet has of sanctifying horrible works out of some misaimed desire for sarcastic humor.

I don't I've ever seen anyone "sanctify" The Room.
It's just humorous to watch something so genuinely bad.
