Test materials: 1 x D-class personnel, 1 x wooden desk.
Re: Art Thread
So I'm making a flash
Incredibly rough animatic. timing is off, no faces/props/details of any kind.
Critique on the body language for now, however, would be much appreciated.
Voice actor is jbriner, also

Holy fuck Verom! That looks awesome! Body language looks good so far, but with it being as simple as it is, I really can't tell if anything can be improved yet.
Re: Art Thread
Yeah, i figured it was a bit too simple to say anything on yet, but I just wanna make sure there's not too many glaring "the hells he doing, that doesn't fit the audio at all" parts before i start roughing the animation.
Re: Art Thread
Teemo is being difficult, Fiddlesticks pulled instead.
I have to tape a piece of paper and extend the work

Re: Art Thread
Fiddles body language doesnt really imply that he's being pulled or hooked in any way. Just kinda looks like he's standing awkwardly while a hook is nearby

Re: Art Thread
You might want to put both legs in front of the rest of his body, at no more then a 45 degree angle ben at the knees. I would also have him lean back a bit in the upper body, he's a little to straight as is.
Don't be afraid to exaggerate gesture a tiny bit, and remember the Line of Action. (the concept that the character's pose should be around an imaginary line that represents the flow of energy, in case you don't know)
That is an improvement, and I like the tracks in the dirt, and the cloths and key-necklass trailing behind him is a good indication of movement, if that's what you were going for with those.

A WIP of my IC Soul Silver team and trainer: Catba with her Arbok, Bayleef and Noctowl. They're going to be looking across a bigger canvas at my best friend's Heart Gold team and trainer when he gets time to draw it later this week hopefully.
