Plenty of people have some "obsessive compulsions," few of them have such significance that a doctor would label it a "disorder"

Purely for my own example, I was diagnosed formally with it in high school and it went hand-in-hand with some already-established anxiety problems. With time and counseling it's faded enough that it no longer impacts my life beyond occasional mild worrying and discomfort, but in the past I had a lot of body tics I would have to repeat over and over to get "right" or I would grow increasingly stressed for no reason, like clicking my teeth every time I passed a certain kind of object in the car, or feeling anxious and upset about not being able to walk a certain way on sidewalks or across tile flooring, among other things. If I "messed up" a ritual like that, I'd spend the rest of the day scared and anxious that something bad was going to happen because of it. Mine was a very mild case that was worsened by/contributed to unrelated anxiety problems.

It's not a good idea to confuse "good luck" rituals and general superstition or "ha, I'm such a neat freak!" with OCD. Mine happened to manifest as a feeling of staving off something nebulously "bad" through repetition and specific actions, but it's not always like that.

This thread isn't going to die from a few hours of inactivity.

Calm yo metaphorical tits.

I wash my hands more than anyone else I know, but I don't flip the fuck out, I just get uncomfortable and try not to touch anything until I have a chance to CLEANSE

What Cori said: a few hours of inactivity is perfectly acceptable. You don't have to post a lot in this thread. Besides, this is a thread for discussion and questions about health. Just stating "I have ADD" isn't really helping the thread be active.

Quality over quantity. :)

I sometimes wonder if I have some form of ADHD, or if my inability to focus comes from my depression instead, or if I'm actually just terribly lazy despite wanting to be more productive.

If you have depression, I'd say that's pretty likely to be at the root of the dissonance between your ideas and your output.

yeah, but I also know that these things can be interconnected sometimes.

I don't want to self-diagnose, just something I'll ask about when I get the chance.

Okay can anybody help me.
I have been feeling sick in the morning for several weeks now. I thought it was just a pasing thing but it's not, I've been throwing up and feeling nautious all around, it sometimes goes away after being up for about an hour but like today it's sticking with me and just making my day harder than it needs to be. Is there any possible explanation? I don't really have time to make a doctors apointment about this.

Pretty sure if you have time to spend on the internet, you can call up a doctor.

I'm on the internet but I'm at work, I get home pretty late and with school and work I don't really have any free time.

Could be stress.
All I can say is to stay hydrated, I recommend green tea.

I'll try drinking some more tea while at work then, hopefully that will help sort this out.
