I had the worst luck with my investigations. The first one died, the second one made me look guilty, and the third one was innocent. Oh well, at least we still won.


I thought up rules for a Mario styled mafia game, but I don't know how to host these, plus I think we need a break from them. There's been, what, three games in a row?

I personally would love a Mario styled one. But yeah, seems alot of these games have been going on.

What I've got so far. Feel free to give an opinion on a change or something:
Items:
Mushroom: Allows someone to survive one attack against them.
Fireflower: Gun equivalent.

Mario: Doctor (Doctor Mario obviously)
Luigi: Cop (reason you stated, pretty much)
Peach: Gunsmith equivalent (she's always giving Mario crap)
Yoshi: Miller (can be mistaken as a koopa in bad ligthing, I guess)
Toad: Villager (what other use does he have?)


Mafia side:
Bowser: Godfather
Bowser Jr: Hooker equivalent, takes role of godfather if godfather dies.
Koopas: Plain ol' mafia member.
Kamek: Haven't 100% decided what he can do yet. Any ideas?


3rd party:
Wario: Neutral to both of the other parties, joint win with either of them if still alive at the end. Can steal items once per day, and once per night if the target he chooses has one. Stealing from Peach will steal whatever item she was going to give to somebody. Failure to steal three times in a row reveals him. Can "sell" items he obtains to other member in return for information on whether they're innocent or guilty (same results as the cop). All his actions besides day votes are to be PM'd to the GM. He can choose to either help the mafia, or the town.

Any opinions? I feel like I made Wario a bit OP.

I think the only thing that makes him really OP is that he's revealed by failing to steal three times when he can just steal from Peach every night and get every item (if he finds out who Peach is). I mean if giving him the potential to screw things over is the idea, I can see where that would make things interesting but plausibly annoying. Maybe if he steals from the same person two night consecutively there's a 50% chance or something to reveal himself? I'm sure there's limitations like that that could balance him out.

And Kamek could totally be like Sniper Wolf was in this game, starting with a fireflower and not being known by either side. Especially after reading through the Mafia Chat here I thought that was a great way to keep both sides on their toes.

Anyway, this was fun! I'm definitely going to try and join the next game, now that I know what to avoid doing those first few days...

That sounds good. I was thinking of making Kamek like sniper wolf, but I didn't want to copy directly from it. Oh well.

I think Runes doctored me the first couple of days because he just needed someone to save, and then when I started to actually be saved he just kinda kept going with it.

You were right, but only really in the fact that I was mafia, but given me specific role in the mafia, I might as well have been a mafia sided townie (with a gun). Either way, good game.

I thought it pretty amusing that Reyo was actually saved by Fuzznut more times than he was saved by Runes. And in the end was killed by Kamak.
Wolf! I warned you not to fight Snake! *Bang*

I'm a bit surprised Reyo didn't shoot you, Kamak, when you said your stealth camo broke.

Yeaaah, by the end of Day 2 I kinda started suspecting that my act wasnt helping anyone at this point:

But yknow, once you start a trainwreck you gotta ride ti to the end. :) I loved what Guy said right before I croaked too. XD

I have to admit to being surprised when the mafia didn't even think of framing me - after all, the town would've lynched me right away that day had I not been killed in the night.

Well, I DID come out guilty, which kinda fuzzed up my strategy quite a bit.

But even there, youd not have been; because not even the cop could tell I was innocent. Its not your fault man.

I was waiting until the game winning play could be made.

I aimed too high with my opes and dreams and they got shot down.
