I never got Blue or Silver, but I played both of them at the time because emulators were starting to show their faces. The first game I actually bought was Sapphire.

If you've never played Chrono Trigger, but enjoy the genre, get that. It's an amazing game. You don't even need to bother with the extra stuff they added.

Wind Waker's cel-shaded graphics tend to age well. I've never played it on Gamecube, but I'm curious to try it.
