To be honest, i don't hate ALL the unlockables. Just the stupid ptomotion weapons, i mean they broke their own Contribution rule with the Machina and holy fist.

I'm cool with things like the buff banner and Bonk! Energy drink as they represent their classes.

Cortana wasn't scary IMO, mostly because...well...

Flood really aren't that scary.

I REALLY wish i could find just ONE server that bans unlockables. Its always just the Stock maps.
