Re: All topics unimportant enough to not create a thread for
I haven't played Dark Heresy before either but the system seems simpler and more straight forward than D&D, so I don't think it would be too hard to pick up. Dark Heresy is basically you trying to shoot something with a lasgun before your teammate psyker's head explodes into an eldritch horror.

I'm thinking about running a (premade) Dark Heresy campaign on the forum, mostly to try to DM for the first time. Would any one be interested?

I watched them when they just started out (their goof troop playthrough was actually pretty enjoyable) and jon didn't add much for me besides screaming in my ears.

Re: Dota2 Thread
Well, it really depends on the person, it's not because they're good at videogames that they can't be good at anything else. Take a look at Stephano , he made 200k$ in 2 years and then went back to med school. What's more, it's not because someone is toxic in a game that they're unsociable in real l...

The Harry Potter fanfic is a stretch goal, the kickstarter is for the ESEX website, which is like the Onion for e-Sports.

Re: Dota2 Thread
Hmm I kinda see that but I'd argue he has a bit more survivability than Zeus with Astral and Force Staff being a better item on him because of INT. I don't think he really needs a Magnus though, the ult AoE on max level is huge, but since pro teams have such good position some kind of initiate is ne...
