AWKWARD ZOMBIE

I'm using FCR and the lowest difficulty, which is hard. I'm in the Crypt outside Vizima trying to kill all those ghuls. Witcher stances are nice and all but they don't help if the enemy can hit me in the split second between my attacks even if his attack animation is 10 times longer and gets stopped...

Unfortunately not.

But seriously, I can't get most enemies dead unless I get a lucky Aard execution or stunlock.
How do you play this game.
