Bratty, noisy children could not ruin my enjoyment of Guardians of the Galaxy. Too many good moments to recount and it's been out too long to really gush about it so yeah I liked it.

I've never had venison before so it was kind of a big deal for me. Didn't taste "gamey" at all, and the guy explained why wild meat usually tastes that way.

Wired an entire house in one day. 104 degrees, no idea what the heat index was. Shirt was drenched with sweat after like half an hour and stayed that way all day. Fun times.

Oh yeah, one of the guys I was working with gave me some deer sausage. It was good.

I got some sort of second wind at work. Started going about twice as fast as usual and finished some of tomorrow's work before leaving.

Kind of stupid since I'm not getting paid more for doing shit faster, but whatever.

The juvie gang's all together finally.

My commute to and from work would be greatly improved without the higher-than-zero chance of yellowjackets slamming into my open window and scaring the shit out of me.

And in any case, just because something ended up not being important to you doesn't mean that it wouldn't mean more to someone else. My best memories of high school were the time I spent in band.
