Full time at Wendy's is somewhere between 28 and 40 hours. Overtime happens when hell freezes over, for good or ill.

They have a set of guidelines for deciding who is healthy enough to donate blood. They don't have the time/money/people to do anything more complicated than ask for a history and weigh you. So even if your weight is healthy for your height/build/metabolism they just disqualify you and move on.

Yeah. I didn't think to drive over to a Wendy's in the next town over for a job. My aunts just happened to keep up with how their old stores were doing. I don't think fast food jobs used to be so scarce or so hard to get. Maybe hard to keep up the hours, but not so hard to get.

Getting that first job sucks. I got mine at Wendy's by being related to two people who used to be a General Manager and a District Manager. And that was for a fast food job thirty minutes away.

Shitty hires set a bad standard. They show up, cost the company up to several hundred dollars or more to train, and then stop showing up. You show up to actually work, and now the company is gunshy.
