So I'm thinking Bruce Willis as the no nonsense police chief who disapproves of Officer Spoony "Ladles" McSpoon. It'll really mess with people's expectations.

But then his new partner, who he told to quit because he was too soft to be a cop in this town, would break him out and say, "Miss me?" or "I was going to leave, but you still owe me five bucks for the crullers."
