Re: The Legend of Korra, because it deserves its own thread
Was there ever an actual issue? Or did Amon create it? Tarlok was certainly a dick to nonbenders and convinced his fellow council members to follow him, but he's hardly a great example of a good bender. Were non Bender rights ever threatened? Or were thugs with bending abilities simply more frighten...

Remember when it's your turn to bend over and think of England. Or America. Or freedom. Or whatever the security checks are protecting.

I went to a museum that let you stick your hand in water that was the same temperature as the water the Titanic passengers were swimming in. If you could maintain higher brain function long enough to concoct a scheme to save yourself and another human being, more power to you. I don't think I could.

Re: NEW GENERAL WRITING THREAD SINCE I CAN'T FIND THE OLD ON
Acghack..! Dusty this topic has become. I'm currently putting together an article to submit to Cracked's workshop. It's list based and hate fueled, so it has a chance. Got a very rough draft started, but it's going to need a lot of organization. Part of the hate fueling means repetition can become a...

Re: Other WebComics
I always liked it when the writer took some basic physics into account when showing Logan's healing factor. When all the flesh was disintegrated off his arm in a Whedon comic, it quickly became covered in skin, but the muscle mass was almost nonexistent. He later was shown meditating and resting to ...

Re: The Legend of Korra, because it deserves its own thread
I feel like the rise of technology, the abandonment of old codes, and the use of spirit bending has woken something up. Maybe the face stealer will make another appearance.

Re: Other WebComics
Ageless...this enters a realm of questionable pederasty that makes me uncomfortable. I've sent in two questions to XKCD's What-If. How fast could a mutant like Wolverine conceivably heal while obeying the laws of physics? How structurally sound would an actual city of gold be? I realize that the ans...

What entertainment are you exposed to that makes you so jaded? I want some of that.Operation Awesome wrote:They're going to need a HELL of a writing team to dig Korra out of the hole that Bryke set up.
Because the first season is pretty much the most infuriatingly average thing I've ever seen.

You know that spider corpse you found in its own web? Probably just its shed skin. Its actually behind you, slightly larger, freed from injuries which you probably caused, and possessed of sharper fangs.

To be safe, don't call anyone a gypsy. You're calling attention to something that doesn't need attention drawn to it. The Romani people live in lot of places and depending on exposure, the word gypsy can be offensive. I'm trying to break myself of the habit of calling myself "jipped" when cheated. G...
