Re: The Legend of Korra, because it deserves its own thread
It was originally a Fire Nation dominion of Earth Kingdom land. Tenzin isn't just an Airbender, his mom is Katara. That had to influence his upbringing quite a bit. I doubt he spent all his time as a hermit while his brother and sister did other things. I'm surprised he's as reserved as he is consid...

Re: The Legend of Korra, because it deserves its own thread
That's a good point. Giving the Water Tribe two representatives is kind of weird as well. The Earth Kingdom is larger with at least two kings. What about the Boggy Swamp? If the Air Nomads were still around would they get four reps? In all fairness, this is a fair approximation of how disorganized p...

Re: The Legend of Korra, because it deserves its own thread
She suffered quite a bit to get airbending. Being bloodbent is painful as hell from the look of it. She also practiced endlessly, even gave up on it briefly. The Bending Matches were part of the practice. Learning to move like an Airbender. Fighting Amon was Avatar stuff. That's what they needed the...

In some species of arachnid, the mother will eat any of the babies that falls off. Good way to weed out the weaklings I suppose.General wrote:I think it's cute. The momma wants to protect her babies.

Some of my best puns are in the Comic Ideas thread. They're usually the ones right after the clever and insightful ideas. Balance is key.

I hope she's not being koi. Pymary doesn't work well in water. The way she worded that gives me pause. "No, that wouldn't work." That's what I expected. Instead she remarks upon assumptions. It's not sunlight that keeps him sane, that doesn't surprise me. But she seems to imply that I have made more...

What all do I have wrong? Is Duane more lucid at night than we realize? Is it simply that it's not the presence of sun that keeps him sane? Could he be a lunatic? Emphasis on luna.
