They've been exposed to so much Phazon that some can actually phase through solid matter. Conserve your ammo and keep shooting with a beam. They'll die from anything you shoot at them if you hit them enough times. Metroids are also unstable during their growth stage if they've just got done feeding ...

It's called a Glasgow Smile and it's used as a method of punishment/torture by some street gangs. Cut them slightly and then kick hard enough to force a scream that tears it the rest of the way. Now keep the dumb posts to a minimum and I won't have to get graphic again.

Y'all is a useful word. Most of the other languages have a plural version of "you" so each region sort of comes up with variation.

I've good survival instincts apparently. Something scary appears and my freakout reaction is to hit it with my most powerful weapon as a reflex. There is a chance for splash damage in many games, but that's why I prefer swords.

Different things for different people. Scary thing that happened to me was in one of the Metroid Primes. Something glitched while going through a door and getting attacked by a Metroid at the same time. Wound up having an invisible, intangible Metroid sucking the life out of me. Which brings me back...
