Re: Bad Jokes

I've got the punchline to a terrible joke written. So there's the easy part.

A-fish-in-sea.

Now I need a setup involving an overly complicated process made simple involving a boat or aquarium.

Re: What makes you pop flyin'?

Good to hear the job is working out now, Loth. I'm personally thinking of quitting my job at the company. The people who run the franchises in my state are just a bit too tightassed for comfort. Just to be sure, you're not forgiving them their earlier screwups just because you experienced a worse jo...

Re: Other WebComics

Sohmer brings out his new Kickstarter while Thunt's is still going on. Huh. I wonder if these events are related.

Re: Other WebComics

The Formspring gave indications that Duane did not know the cause of his predicament. Now he does. Now men die in blood and fire.

He's going to take the Aspect of Solidity from his boots and apply it to the khert quadrant of their asses.

Re: The Legend of Korra, because it deserves its own thread

Yakone tells his kids they come from a long line of Bloodbenders. So I'm guessing it's simply been kept a guarded secret amongst those who knew how to use it. Anybody mean enough to master it would be scared enough to keep others from learning it.

All of those wolves may have bled out internally minutes later. Bloodbending was made illegal by Katara's decree, she may have made an informed decision.

I'd almost agree, if writing was all he did. But he balances all that with Blind Ferret, cons, ads, merch and being a dad. Also, be careful which particular form of art you decide to denigrate. You might anger somebody. Like Hemingway's ghost.

Blood clots are immensely painful. I doubt Bloodbending less so. Perhaps it has non-lethal applications, but non-lethal means of torture are still prosecuted by the Hague.

Re: Other WebComics

Which is a sore spot of Sohmer's. He brags about his update schedule and harshly criticizes anyone who misses theirs. I don't know why he recruited Goblin's guy if his update schedule was erratic.

Re: The Legend of Korra, because it deserves its own thread

I think one of the evils of Bloodbending is that it overrides and infects the spirit of the victim. Blood outside the body is easily bent, but inside it's still part of the victim. It's why it's so difficult to pull off. Most Waterbenders aren't strong enough to override their opponent's control. Am...

None of us has seen the contract, or the financial ramifications. There's usually compromises and shortcomings on both sides.
