I don't have Photoshop. WAT DO? Either pirate Photoshop... Or open the image in Paint. Make the canvas the size you want the avatar to be. Select the whole image, and slowly pull the corners of the square (of the tool, not the canvas) until you get the size you want. I can't guarantee good quality,...
