Re: The Big Pokemon Thread of Horror
Erufuun is the reason why I'm going to teach my eventual machamp magic coat, which now reflects a lot more. Speaking of which, my current planned team for fifth gen competetive matches: Machamp Zorroark Breloom Cloyster And a possible 2 of the following Nattorei Forretress Skarmory Suicune Urgamoth ...

Gyarados does get one flying attack via move tutor, bounce. Two if you count hidden power.
Also Dent's fight against Iris was win.

Re: The Big Pokemon Thread of Horror
Quoted from bulbapedia In the Generation I games, accuracy was technically determined as a fraction of 256, with 255/256 being the highest possible value (FF in hexadecimal, the highest possible value before rolling over to three digits). Due to this, moves with 100% accuracy (which cannot miss unle...

Re: The Big Pokemon Thread of Horror
Oh god, I still remember it. Articuno evaded the pokeball! Articuno evaded the pokeball! Articuno has been ice beaming you the entire time and you have no items to heal with cause you spent them all on ultraballs!
Also, fun fact about gen1, every attack, no matter what, had a 1/256 chance of missing.

Well I guess he will live on in our hearts. And by that I mean he's gonna be used to stab our hearts.

Re: The Big Pokemon Thread of Horror
If PO is any indication, machamp can survive a psychic coming off a chandera if given max HP EVs and at max HP, and OHKO with payback/stone edge. So not squishy in my opinion.

Re: The Big Pokemon Thread of Horror
Oh sure, magnezone may have a ton of resistances, and gengar is a great sweeper, not to mention smeargle's unpredictable moveset (except spore which they all have). But you know what they don't have? 100% accurate dynamic punch. A vote for machamp is a vote for America/wherever you live.

I can't believe it's over. I've been reading from the very beginning, and now it's over. Charlie will never be forgotten. He will live on in our hearts, punching them.
And this is the second LP on this forum to actually finish I think.
