Re: D&D: Dungeons and Deathtraps
The slime's turn comes around again before your attack, Blanche. However, since you get an attack to stop it's attempted grapple this turn, you smack it. An AoO consumes this round's attack, so now next round, it attempts another grapple. If you fail the AoO, the grapple roll is 16. It has a lower m...

Re: D&D: Dungeons and Deathtraps
This is a world in which house cats are stronger than humans. Logic has no place here unless I'm using it in a trap. Anyway, I don't know what skill you were using with that 5 but a 5 isn't enough under any circumstances, except balance checks, and even then only sometimes. The force of your morning...

Re: D&D: Dungeons and Deathtraps
Attack rolls, silly, not damage rolls. But I guess being a narc is fine too. But after rolling attack rolls for you, only one hit, but the orange that exploded, I am not making this up, did the equivalent of those 3 rolls you made, 12. It's now the same size as the slime as the one Shinsa squished. ...

Re: D&D: Dungeons and Deathtraps
You run over to the sand pile, and you (3+2) flub the climb roll. During the slimes 2 attempts to get over the pile, it dumped sand, making it 4 dumps already, halfway back to full speed. It dumps some more as it slides down to the firey side of the pile, and heads towards a flaming building. You tw...

Re: D&D: Dungeons and Deathtraps
The slime pops with an oily pop. There just wasn't enough left to split right.
At this point, not counting time paradoxes caused by when the others taking their actions (aya/OW), the main slime has made it over the sand pile, and Krom has returned to 18 hp.

Re: General Game Gabbin'
I almost couldn't find the game's title on that cover and was about to assume the game was called "10 out of 10".
There should be a game called 10 out of 10.

Re: D&D: Dungeons and Deathtraps
You miss the little slime. Fun fact, a natural 1 would have had it start consuming your leg.
Alright, I guess you can heal him then. If you really want to.

Re: D&D: Dungeons and Deathtraps
The slash removes a chunk from the slime, forming a small slimelet. It begins to wander off.

Re: D&D: Dungeons and Deathtraps
I don't think you need ranks in Know:architecture or anything like that to tell that burning buildings aren't safe to be, but as for whether you see anything, you do not SEE anything. You rush through and reflex saved against a falling support beam, really it was only there to trap you so I won't ev...

Re: D&D: Dungeons and Deathtraps
You open the window and leap out, but stumble a bit on the sunken earth surrounding the tower. Shinsa has made it back to the tower by now, and you can make it to the slime in a turn. Also, I decided to roll the slime's climb checks now, and he made it after two more sand dumps/climb checks. So I th...

Re: D&D: Dungeons and Deathtraps
Blanche, as you are about to circle a building to get to Krom, you see that the door was left open on your side, and on the side the street Krom is laying in is. Sometimes, dice rolls are good like that. If that was worded poorly, you can move through the burning building to get to Krom. OW, you mak...

Re: D&D: Dungeons and Deathtraps
Oh hey, I refresh the page and see you haven't responded yet, and when I'm making my post, there you are! I was about to put you into a time bubble because I am impatient and want things going. But you're here, and the orange does 11 damage. The continued damage has caused it to lose enough mass to ...
