Re: The Big Ol' Minecraft Thread!
Hm.. in the new weekly pre-release, you can't trample farmland by walking, only jumping, same for farm animals and mobs doing it, and apples have about a 1/200 chance of dropping from leaves. Woah, that's smart. Except for the apple thing, it's completely possible to actually code apple trees and o...

Wordsmith: The picture was tweeted 6 hours ago, I'm assuming they have to do a lot of prep and procedures and such.
I'm guessing the book contains Act 1 and Act 2.

Re: A Non-Biased Minecraft Review
Yeah, minecraft does suck right now, but it's most likely going to get better. It has potential right now, and I hope that Notch sees that and has his team work on it. Notch has actually alluded to having some kind of view or plan for where he wants Minecraft to go, but after the release it looks l...

Re: Terraria
Wait, does Terraria have a designated 'end'? Like what Notch threw onto Minecraft? technically no but once you get all the top-tier gear then there is bodaciously no point in playing any more. One of the reasons I prefer Minecraft is because even after I deck myself out in diamond shit, I still hav...

Re: The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion
so after a few long days of thinking i have come to a conclusion on how i feel about oblivion. If I were to break it down into it's separate parts, and examine each one on it's own, I would hate it. Completely and utterly hate it. It is a machine and I hate every gear. Yet, somehow, all these compo...

Re: The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion
yo, since i actually have a decent computer now, i started playing this game again after promptly getting bored after 30 minutes last time. so far, playing a wood elf that uses blade and light armor and restoration magics. seems to be going pretty well. not using any proletariats yet, though i'll pr...

Re: A Non-Biased Minecraft Review
If a reviewer refers to the fanbase as 'autistic' it is not a good review. Why? I understand it's not a good thing, and I don't agree with it, but it doesn't nullify any of the other points he makes. he states that the gameplay does not go beyond it's controls, completely ignoring the entire creati...

Re: A Non-Biased Minecraft Review
minecraft's singleplayer was never hugely deep. I probably stopped having fun with it after 4-6 hours. Multiplayer is still a sort of unique spectacle, in that it's a lazy collaborative effort of creation. either way, everything he said is pretty much right, but i guess critics have to give it prais...
