I skipped school today to finish some assignments I'd never gotten around to last week.

I am such a naughty girl.

But it's not just when I get poked, though. I squeaked when I dropped a book on accident and my friend started laughing at me.

We haven't been back ever since we moved north, when I was twelve. I never got to see the renovated Space Mountain in person.

I make funny noises. Like, squeaking and meeping when someone pokes my side or when I'm surprised/shocked/startled. And I don't even realize it until I see people giving me weird looks.

This is true, a counselor should be able to offer multiple pieces of advice for you to consider and try, to find something that works for you. And Bacon's idea was a good one; focus on one thing at a time instead of getting buried in trying to work out everything at once.
