It's not fair to have only one day of new holiday drops for every single user on the site. Some people can't get to their computers on Christmas, and others have a slow internet connection and have difficulty grabbing new releases in the holiday rush. The breeding period isn't over yet, so the AP's going to be full of old holidays for a bit longer. And new holidays will keep dropping in the cave until the 28th so that everyone has a chance to get some.

I could have bought Skyrim when it came out, but saved my cheddar for the special edition of Skyward Sword instead. My laptop is pretty weak anyway, so it probably wouldn't have worked very well.
