Re: It's moments like these that you need Minties
I don't want to compare and contrast Japanese Ukiyo-e prints and Inuit wood prints. I just want to sleep.

Cheese has been kind of a controversial food for years because to get the rennet, you have to kill the calf.
But it's such good cheeeese.

Re: Doctor Who
As am I. I didn't watch Goblet of Fire until late 2006, when I came across the dvd at a friend's house.

Re: Doctor Who
So, I recently re-watched Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire and I realized that David Tennant played Barty Crouch Jr. when he wasn't disguised as Mad-Eye. I hadn't made the connection before because I didn't know anything about Doctor Who the last time I watched that movie, but I thought that was ...

I never realized the Imprisoned's toes were an attack point. I always went for the head.

In other words, yes, zoning out while driving is incredibly dangerous. It's how my car got its' bumper snapped in half. Other car with metal bumper turning left and not paying attention + me with plastic bumper going straight = driving home with a bungie cord holding half of my bumper in place and h...

Re: It's moments like these that you need Minties
Vax is totally right. Being introverted doesn't mean you can't ever be around people--in fact, I have a lot of fun when I'm with my friends, even though large crowds tend to drain all of my energy. But I also love having my moments of solitude. Sometimes I just don't want to talk to people and that'...

Sometimes I wish I was old enough to drink just so I could see how different alcoholic beverages taste. Then I worry that I'll accidentally overdo it and turn out to be one of those drunk people who have no concept of personal space. (I have tasted wine and a daiquiri before though and they were okay)

White is not counted as a color in art, as far as I know. It's the absence of color.

That might be true. It just seems like a lot more kids have actually been diagnosed with food allergies lately. Maybe it's because I'm just more aware of what my mom does at work now.

Re: TMI Thread [NSFW] Version 2.0 (Strictly Moderated)
I've noticed an increase in allergies to just food products in general--my mom is a preschool teacher, and when she started teaching the snacks that were served to the kids could be anything. Peanut butter, nuts, cupcakes, 'special' foods from story books like green eggs and ham. You know, stuff kid...

I'm pretty horrible when it comes to shaving my legs...I usually don't unless I know I'm going to do something that would involve exposing my calves. Like swimming, or wearing shorts. Winter = upstanding member of society legs, whoops. I've been meaning to get into the habit of shaving more often, b...
