Turbo got me back onto the 404 page and now I can't stop browsing it, agh. But I did find a gem.
The song is called Circus Galopa. It was written specifically for player pianos. I've seen a few videos with it in the past. You'd need like ten hands and lightning-fast reflexes to play it!

Re: Taboo Topics (Heavily moderated)
I honestly do not believe upstanding members of society go through as much anguish and suffering as some people say they do. Humans have a lot of luxuries that animals do not have and I doubt that many upstanding members of society would be willing to give all of those up. Maybe a small handful of t...

Re: Art Thread
Wwwwwell You start with a sketch of your subject, and it's usually much bigger than the sprite you want to make (doing it digitally is best so that you can use a magic wand tool or a paint bucket to erase the sketch color later). You can also sketch with pencil and paper and scan it onto the compute...

Uhhhh I know a little bit about how spriting works. I don't do much of it myself, but I know the process fairly well.Sol Reaper wrote:Anyone here proficient (or at least knowledgeable) with pixel art/sprite art? I'm looking to get into spriting so I'd like some assistance in that regard.

I tried giving my leopard gecko a bit of cantaloupe to see if she would eat it. She didn't take it, not that I was surprised (she's only eaten crickets for years), so I gave it to the crickets instead. Edit: tried to give her some banana too. She turned up her nose again. The crickets are reveling i...

It's really smokey out here in Steven's county too.TurboPunz wrote:I'm sorry, this made me laugh.RikuKyuutu wrote:Welp, we almost got through the summer without the valley burning down.
For one, the statement itself is funny, for two, I'm just imagining an on fire dip slowly getting deeper.

Not likely. I don't think Nintendo is developing any more games for the DS since it's technically obsolete now.
Maybe they're making it for the 3ds, but like Retardus said, a source would be nice.

Okay, I'll give that a try. It was really hard to find reference pictures for people standing in a sunset that weren't completely silhouetted, so I kind of had to wing it, haha.

When I got my wisdom teeth removed, I was put under too. I did not, however, fast for twelve hours beforehand and I still didn't throw up. But I guess it's better to be safe than sorry. I got a voucher for a free milkshake too when I woke up, and mom had stocked up on those little ice cream cups bef...

Bumping because I made a rough sort-of diagram for where I think the shadows should go in the picture. I could really use some pointers for this because shadows have never been my strong point.
Linked again because big.

Re: Art Thread
So I took a commission from someone a few days ago. They wanted a picture of two of their characters fighting (over a girl who was both of their love interests) on a cliff with a sunset in the background. One problem, though: one of their so-called 'original' characters was just Nuada from Hellboy w...

Re: Doctor Who
But the Daleks in the Parliament--save for a few--all looked like old-model Daleks, without the rainbow colors. And just because Oswin is a "Genius hacker" wouldn't make her able to project her HUMAN voice on the speakers. In reality, she is a dalek. She would speak with a dalek's voice. Only in her...

There is already an RSS feed.

Re: The Current Events Thread
I don't like having to choose between two parties either, but in almost every election candidates from other 'third' parties never make it past preliminaries. They're either not popular enough to sway people to vote for them or they get run off by the big rich democrats/republicans.
