But what can be done about people who are inactive? Sometimes inactive players are mafia who don't want to say anything in case the sound suspicious, but sometimes they're just...people who are really bad at making a post in a thread once in a while.

I tend to agree with that line of thinking, but at the same time I dislike how the first day usually always turns out like this.

I want Noibat but I also want the goo dragon and Inkay but I also want to keep Frogadier and Gardevoir and Pancham and Honedge and Charmeleon hhhhgh.
