Re: The Christm- The Non-Denominational Winter Holiday Thead

I got a desktop computer, so I'm set. I have to wait until the 25th to set it up, though.

Re: The Pokemon thread

That's perfect, that will give me a real jump on my breeding. I forget, what's your IGN again?

Re: The Pokemon thread

I always start my super training slow because being left-handed gives me a bit of a disadvantage at first. The only time I have really bad trouble is with the yellow rapid fire projectiles.

Kamak wrote:What IV spread are you going for? Physical (Attack), Special (Sp. Att.), or Mixed (Both)?

And you want max Speed, right?
Special attack would be the best, and speed is good too yes please.

Re: The Pokemon thread

If you did that for me it would be the berries, Kamak. I'll give you a Mawile with good IVs and the elemental punches in exchange.

Edit: elemental FANGS, not punches wow me

Re: The Pokemon thread

It's taking forever to breed my 5-IV charmander because I can go through a whole box of charmanders with only two females, and one female had ONE perfect IV and the other had none.

The 1-IV female is the new breeding mother and since then I haven't gotten a single new female.

Re: The Pokemon thread

I'm not super picky about what pokeball a pokemon hatches in. It's neat that they made them an inheritable thing, but I don't think quick balls or ultra balls are ugly or anything. I saw some people on reddit being super picky about what pokeball they wanted a traded pokemon to be in and it seemed l...

Re: The Pokemon thread

I would have been even more jealous if you hadn't been trying, hahaha I have a few pokemon from other countries off wonder trade, like a french Zorua and a spanish chespin. Maybe I should try Masuda method-ing. If both pokemon are from a language region other than your own (ex: french zorua, japanes...

Re: The Pokemon thread

In my opinion, just because they don't like it doesn't mean they should ban it for everyone. Plus, Instacheck also helped prevent trade scams. It was useful for more than just numbers.

Re: The Pokemon thread

That's how pokemon has been for certain people ever since the metagame was cracked. Look at all the RNG exploiting people did in the previous generations. This just provided metagame access to a wider fanbase. Even now, hardcore metagamers are figuring out how to use Spinda's spots and a hexadecimal...

Re: The Pokemon thread

Instacheck was really useful for checking IVs as well. That's how I got my 5 IV shiny Vulpix and Axew. Talking to the guy in Kiloude City wasn't awful and tedious, but compared to Instacheck it did take longer. Edit: I arranged a trade with someone last night to hatch a shiny Mawile for him and now ...

Re: The Pokemon thread

Instacheck is now unusable along with Battle Analyzer. Why did GameFreak have to eliminate both? Battle Analyzer was cheaty and unfair and I'm glad it's banned, but why instacheck? Gamefreak can obviously encrypt one part of the wifi system (the GTS) without encrypting other parts.
