Re: The Pokemon thread
Downloaded pokebank today and transferred some pokemon to it from Platinum and White. I had the (un)pleasant surprise of learning that the Mew and Manaphy I got from the GTS years ago were hacked. So was my Deoxys, but I knew that because it was level 3.

Your computer might not have the tablet software installed on it. It won't read pressure properly unless you install the disc that came with the tablet.

Re: Art Thread
We didn't want a cast full of sexy critter's. We noticed a lot of people would draw anthro's with full rippling muscles even though realistically it would be hidden by fur or scales or whatever. (Mainly because it's their self empowerment fantasy persona). My favorite thing is when someone adds shi...

Re: Bill Nye vs Ken Ham - Creationism
Ken Ham got a question from the audience that asked him "should everything in the Bible be taken bodaciously" and listed a couple of things paraphrased from the Bible like men having multiple wives and people being stoned for touching pig skin. A valid question, in my opinion. Ken Ham responded by s...

Here I thought the latest comment was going to be something helpful and/or interesting.
Angelic, your technique is pleasant, but in my opinion it would look better with more contrast. Push the dark areas darker! Also, experimenting with different line widths could make your drawings look even nicer.

Re: Bill Nye vs Ken Ham - Creationism
I'm not finished watching the video, but I will say in this thread that I believe that creationism and evolution CAN be combined--for example, I believe as a Christian that God created the universe, and I believe that he also created every law of physics, genetics, and nature. I like the theory that...

Re: The Elder Scrolls
Does 'The Dark Brotherhood Forever' get removed from your active quests after a certain number of assassinations? The game announced that I had completed the last quest and usually after that it tells me to return to get my new mark, but this time I didn't get that, and the quest got moved to my 'fi...

Re: Health Thread: Questions, Concerns, and Discussion
There's not really much you can do if your mom really does have some kind of mental condition. Most people don't like to hear that they might have a problem, and parents want to hear that from their children even less.

Dump it all in my parents' room. No where else in the house, though, or I'll be mad at you.

Yeah, sorry, I meant that the game's setting is 'modern times' instead of sandbox games like Minecraft which are usually fantasy-ish.Syobon wrote:It's a game built around parodying American culture.
Could you clarify what you mean by modern sandbox? I'm a little confused since GTA dates back to 1997.

Re: GOTYAY 2013 Edition: A look back on this year's gaming
I don't know about 'masters of sandbox'. Maybe a modern setting sandbox. Then again I don't care for GTA as a series because it's just...I don't know. It's a game built around senseless violence. I like my games with a little bit of meat on their bones, not just explosions and guns.
