Well, Elliot Rodger is dead now--I believe he shot himself when he was cornered by police.
But here is an important thing to read related to male entitlement and violence against women.
Elliot Rodger is not an isolated incident, though he certainly took it to a larger scale.

Re: The Current Events Thread
I agree with Stranger. I think too often, mental illness is used as a scapegoat when something like this happens--ESPECIALLY if the perpetrator is a white male. This wasn't an act of mental illness, this was an act of sexual entitlement and misogyny.

Possibly, but it doesn't change his main motive.

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2638049/7-dead-drive-shooting-near-UC-Santa-Barbara.html So this happened. Can we talk about how disgusting it is that guys like Elliot Rodgers think they're entitled to sex?? Women are basically just objects to them. And the dating forum that he was a part of...

I was referring to the post you made above mine that you edited. The post wondering about something to do with the triforce and lesbians.

Re: Super Smash Bros
Wait, why did people give Vax shit for being upset about the lack of skin color options? I mean, I know you guys were trying to make a joke, at least that's what it looks like, but it's not outlandish to want video game characters with darker skin.

I know I'm not the first to make a joke about Hyrule Warriors: Xtreme Beach Volleyball but I just wanted to say it now because I felt like a daisies comedian when I thought of it. Everyone gets jiggle physics. Team Ninja programmed jiggle physics into Link's scarf. Barabba I can't tell if you're try...

The other day I thought "daisies I haven't drawn my boi BB in a while, I should do that". So I did.

I tried to draw him running on all fours but the pose looks kinda wonky. Still gotta clean it up too. Comments and critique appreciated.

My bishounen sense is tingling...!
Oh no, Link has taken the next step to becoming the ultimate girly man
part of me isn't really liking the more feminine features on him, but another part of me likes it. I've always favored prettyboys, and Link was already a prettyboy before this.

I don't understand what's going on--the engine is revving like crazy but her tires aren't moving more than a tiny bit. Is she in the wrong gear or something?

You don't have to do it if you don't want to, but there will be plenty of allies at the parade too, not just members of the LGBT community. Going to a pride parade doesn't mean that everyone is going to assume you're gay/bi/etc.

Well yeah, but my point was that someone who has a more unique character like a black person with albinism is *hopefully* past their sameface phase.

Re: Things that piss you off
The optimistic part of me wants to say that someone who has a black character with albinism is aware enough to know that they need to draw better and more distinctive features.
Things like hairstyles can help too.

Re: Things that piss you off
One of my characters is black, but her face actually resembles the sister of one of my childhood friends--who happens to be part Japanese and not black at all. It happened without me realizing it when I was drawing her one day and I really liked how it looked. I think that researching different look...

Re: The Current Events Thread
I thought that stereotype was far-fetched until I mentioned evolution to my extremely christian parents and they balked at it.
You know, despite the myriad of proof available to them
sometimes I feel like they doubt anything I say just because I'm not 'as religious' as they are.
