AWKWARD ZOMBIE

Threw up, been feeling like crap. Can't call in because they need me really bad at work. I'm gonna see if I can leave early though, if it doesn't get any better, but they NEED me for lunch, so I have to be there for at least 11-3. Don't know if I can last the whole 10 hours.

And, as usual, the girl who originally said she'd go on a date with me withdrew that acceptance. This happens all the time, and I am tired of it.

Every. Little. Thing about today.

Now my boss wants to promote me to Assistant Manager, so she is riding my butt on every little thing I do, mess up once and get yelled at for the rest of the day. Good thing I am leaving in a month or so.

Friend and I are in the office, we just had someone try to replace an order from three months ago, but she didn't hear because she was doing office stuff without a headset. I am drinking my drink looking at the window, and absentmindedly say "We should date..." A couple seconds later I finish my tho...

"Wow, it is selling for $300? And you're gonna sell it to me for only $150?! You're the best manager ever!"

On topic: My friend had her last day at work today and my boss is now on vacation. Work is gonna be smooth sailing for a while.

Time to be dead to the world for three days. Closing, then midding, then opening. Work, sleep as soon as I get home, repeat.

I was talking about people who work 11-4, then 8-1:30. The crazy amount of hours type of thing.
Working doubles is totes legal, though.

We do that all the time, especially if we lost am employee and the other employee willingly picked up that shift.
