i got a new computer, and it has windows 7

i'm running skype on it, but whenever someone sends me a new message it doesn't make a noise and the icon doesn't flash like it does for MSN

i checked the settings but i still don't know why it isn't giving me notifications

i asked my dad if i could buy the computer and he was like "yeah whatever dude it's your cheddar"

so now i feel like a dick for assuming that he would stand in my way

but i'm happier that i can go out and buy the computer anytime i want now
