Re: All topics unimportant enough to not create a thread for
You know that translates into a "yes" to those of us who were on the wrong side of the popularity spectrum, which, as you said, "means jack shit". It could be that people are more awesome, but it could also be that the stress of "being cool" is no longer present because, as was said, peole don't rea...

Re: All topics unimportant enough to not create a thread for
SO LIKE Second night on campus at University of Kentucky is finished. Awesome so far. They have this thing called K-Week, where for the first week they just have parties and free food and orientation stuff. Anyway, today they had their Big Blue U thing in their big football stadium, where they have...

Re: DLC General: The games industry has changed
Anything with offensive DLC hasn't really touched me at all. For New Vegas, I actually ended up buying each DLC one by one because I was genuinely interested in what would be in each DLC, what the story would be like, what kind of cool shit would there be, etc. And, more often than not, I was reall...

Re: Things that piss you off
All settled in to the new apartment...only one thing wrong. The mattress is government issue. Government issue as in, and I shit you not, they had the exact kind of mattress in boot camp. An apartment complex you're meant to live comfortably in, and hold themselves to a higher standard, has military...

Re: Things that piss you off
That's part of the reason why I dislike it. If you're not mindful enough of the customers to keep an employee away from work for a day or two because he might get other people sick, then what other shit aren't you mindful of?

Re: Things that piss you off
*re-enters conversation late* College is another matter all together. I'll go to class with a cold. Then again, for me, a cold is mostly a sore-ish throat and my voice getting weird (as told by my parents). I draw the line at puking though. If I'm puking via sickness, my booty is on the couch playin...

Re: Things that piss you off
Becoming medical personnel has done that too me. Before 2011 I wouldn't have given two shits, but now just the thought of someone sick working anywhere near the kitchen irks me. It irks me as both medical personnel and a biology student actually. That's how disease is spread...and we should be inter...

Re: Fallout General: The war has changed
I know about that. I was able to trade in my vanilla New Vegas game to get that (which came out to me spending $20 on just the DLC, which isn't bad). I still don't know what companies have against releasing all of the DLC in their own little CD. The way both Fallout 3 and New Vegas did their GOTY ed...

Re: Fallout General: The war has changed
I'm surprised all of that wasn't jammed into a DLC which was then sold back to us. Then again, Bethesda is pretty good at having things in as DLC that make sense as DLC. On a sidenote, I'm still a little rustled at Bioware for making me pay $10 just to have Javik the Prothean on my Mass Effect squad...

Re: Things that piss you off
We were really understaffed with a C team, they needed me, and there was no other mid manager working today. I got to go home early though, because dinner was fine without me . I puked a couple times while there, but I was working away from food today. Oh God please don't tell me you work in food s...

Re: Things that piss you off
Threw up, been feeling like crap. Can't call in because they need me really bad at work. I'm gonna see if I can leave early though, if it doesn't get any better, but they NEED me for lunch, so I have to be there for at least 11-3. Don't know if I can last the whole 10 hours. Is it because they're s...

Re: General Game Gabbin'
I never really got around to buying games for the Xbox. I usually just borrowed them from my bro. I think the only games I have for it are Fable, the original Halo (which I think I played once when bored), and maybe Bioshock if that was a Xbox game? I really should probably give it to a better home...

Re: Things that piss you off
The obviously school oriented, non-school oriented apartment complex I'm moving into has move in day tomorrow and they're all sooper dooper excited about it! I get to pack all of my shit up, break physics multiple times fitting it into the car, chug it to where I'm going, only to haul it all up to t...

Re: Fallout General: The war has changed
The one thing that got me about House was that he just wouldn't let the brotherhood of steel alone. What's worse is they made it seem like I could talk him out of it with speech options, but at the end he was just all "NOPE! Go kill them...all...and their puppies." The first time I played, I'd gotte...

Re: Fallout General: The war has changed
In my opinion it would be a lot better for you to be able to choose Mr. House as the Governor of the town with the NCR as the military force, but the game doesn't give that option. NOOOOOOO Mr. house just wants to be a benevolent dictator and the NCR just wants martial law over everyone. I guess th...
