I vaguely remember seeing one of those cards. All I could think of is saying "here's something else to be offended by", ripping it up, and shoving it down my pants.

There are multiple possibilities with that. Maybe banter was a grey fox kill, and the mafia actually tried to kill who the doctor saved. We can't be too sure just what life saving mechanism actually came into play last night.
