Re: General Game Gabbin'
A concern I have with SteamOS is that if Valve can't make an app that works without hick-ups, how are they going to do an OS? They're probably going to bring in different people to do it, but the Valve work environment, while great for creativity, hasn't proven too good for reliability and stable c...

Re: Music Thread
Found out about Mord Fustang and bought the "All Eyes on Mord Fustang" album. I also found an artist named Impactist that did some promo music for Cartoon Network this last summer. Here's that:

Re: Mighty No. 9
Why were portable versions not among he first stretch goals? Was Inafune drunk and accidentally typed the wrong thing into the list at the time?

Re: Unsounded
Paranoia about political intrigue and espionage usually makes things more interesting. Can't wait to see the next page/pages.

Re: Super Smash Bros
SSE was incredibly boring to play through. SSB is not designed for a side-scrolling platformer, and that's what SSE was aside from the battles. Which is why Sakurai could have instead focused on making it more engaging rather than whining like a child about how his secrets got outed. I'm expecting ...

Re: Super Smash Bros
That brings up another interesting thing: Did Sakurai honestly not expect such a massively hyped game like Brawl to have a huge amount of info about it leaked before it's NA release? They ran the Smash Bros Dojo so they obviously saw how much traffic it got. Gamers are hungry for every scrap of info...

Re: Unsounded
Now I think this chapter is going to be told solely through Elka and Toma's perspective as they track down Duane and Sette

Re: General Game Gabbin'
I'd love to see HL3 last like 5 minutes as a now-talking finally-using-his-MIT-degree Gordon and the other two still-living scientists construct a device to phase the Combine out of our dimension forever.

Re: Super Smash Bros
I'm pretty sure that most of the people who bought Brawl didn't go to YouTube the instant all of the cutscenes were uploaded to spoil themselves on the story. It's probably more like a couple of years later fans decided they wanted to watch the cutscenes again but didn't feel like getting their copy...

3 days until GTA Online devours all of my time until I can afford/get a next-gen console.

Re: General Game Gabbin'
You know, I used to want to see a sequel to The World Ends With You, but given the way that Square operates and has managed their games recently, I'm not so sure anymore.

Re: Super Smash Bros
It may be pretty old news by now but I still think Sakurai's decision that there will be no Subspace Emissary style cutscenes because of people uploading them to YouTube is by and far one of the most immature decisions I have seen from a game developer to date. Sure, it's his game and he can decide ...

Re: Western Cartoons/Comics
The only glaring flaw is that part during the beginning sparring match where Jaune drops his sword and then there's a jump cut to him falling down while holding his sword. Other than that, it was a decent ep.
Also, tournament has been confirmed. Should get some good fight scenes there.

Re: Western Cartoons/Comics
You just reminded me to check out when the World's Collide trade paperback comes out. It's all the way in November. Oh and the other volumes come out in February and May of next year. May as well track down all the issues at my local comic shop and save myself a bunch of time.

Re: General Game Gabbin'
It's like game devs have learned nothing at all from the DMC reboot Nothing at all nothing at all... nothing at all... But honestly, I don't like it how people jump down only Squeenix throat, as Psyonix is just as responsible for it too, if not even the most, as in this video, there are mainly Psyo...
