Re: Things that piss you off
I get these stupid stress attacks whenever a piece of tech that I use doesn't work the way it's supposed to, like just a bit earlier when I found out that my ancient desktop got its memory clogged up and crashed. I'm worried about this PC being broken when I haven't used it in the longest time and I...

Re: All topics unimportant enough to not create a thread for
It looks like my desktop is finally done for. I now have no excuses, it's time to build/get a new one. I haven't used it for a long time anyways, so it's no huge loss.

Re: Western Cartoons/Comics
They're actually not at all like that.
Also in other news the Samurai Jack comic book gets its first issue this month, so be on the lookout for it. It's gonna be a 5-issue run, just so y'all know. I'd love for it to be an ongoing, though.

Re: Movies
I saw Gravity yesterday and loved it. Neil Degrasse Tyson needs to calm down about the scientific accuracy of the movie and just enjoy it, though. He's been talking about it on Twitter quite a lot. Definitely wouldn't want to go see something like The Hobbit with him, that's for sure. Even Chris Had...

Re: Western Cartoons/Comics
Isnt Sonic still a pretty major brand? Even 10 years of mismanagemnt havent erased that Yeah, but most of the demand for Sonic I've seen in recent years has been in regards to games and comic books. Cartoons? I'm not sure. Sonic X still reruns on Saturday mornings on a 4Kids-run network, but I'm no...

Y'know, when they first debuted mega evolutions I was going to diss them, but then I saw how awesome Mega Absol looked.

http://www.sonicretro.org/wp-content/uploads/2013/10/sonicboomteaser.jpg (link'd) Well uh... thats a welp. I would like to know how or where the people who greenlighted this show did their research. I also fail to see how there could be a significant market for a Sonic cartoon in this day and age. ...

No, I'm not making a comparison. I'm saying that the reality is not the same was what people constantly tout as benefits to PC gaming.

Re: General Game Gabbin'
Some PC games just don't work for backwards compatibility. I'd love to play some Vampire the Masquerade Bloodlines, but screw that if I have to go hunting online for some patch that makes it run on Windows 7. Yeah, I tried compatibility mode, it doesn't work. If by hunting online you mean 5 seconds...

Re: Western Cartoons/Comics
I liked it. More dialogue-based conflict is something that the story needed to get away from the high school hijinks. Stuff like what Weiss went through in that Badge and the Burden two-part thing; that's what I'd like to see more of. Hopefully with time we'll get more of that.

The Best Friends just uploaded a competition video for that Attack on Titan unity 3D game. It was pretty good.

I hope Beyond Two Souls flops and David Cage gets exposed for the hack he is, but I doubt it. Problem is that in the intervening years since Cage's previous games, the industry has gotten a massive hard-on for things like "cinematic experiences" and story-based games in general; everyone wants a ne...

Re: Bioshock: Infinite
Yes, do it. BioShock 2 is an excellent game and Minerva's Den is an excellent DLC to accompany it. Also speaking of DLC, who else can't wait to traverse Rapture with a two-weapon limit and a regenerating shield in the upcoming Infinite expansion?
