I try to catch and release crickets when I can, but truth be told most bugs freak me out too much to the point it leads to two outcomes. I either kill it or run away from it and freak out that it my pop up later when I least expect it. Yes, it is irrational and probably ridiculous, but I can't stand...

I guess fifteen seconds is a lot, maybe it was less I don't know.

I have to say I never have heard of someone really bothered by killing an insect though.

A mosquito landed on my arm for less than fifteen seconds before I killed it yet it's already getting red and a little swollen where it apparently 'bit' me. Those little bastards don't waste any time do they?
