The thing I noticed is that the creators said this series is supposed to correspond to the 1920s or so, and I'll be damned if I didn't hear some swing music.

I'm a bit bothered by the standard designs as well.

I suppose that's why I like the ones with non-standard designs (Mr Cake, Flim & Flam, Post Haste, etc.)

I have noticed a slight double standard in that there are so many F/F pairings it's ridiculous, but there are very few M/M stories and they're mostly ignored. (This probably has something to do with the dearth of named male characters, but still.) I'd say this has more to do with the cast being 95%...

Aside from the top notch animation, another thing struck me.
