Yes, that is Fire Emblem: Thracia 776, on the SNES. I did a little cut and pasting so you could see more of the screen at once to show the ridiculous amounts of enemies in that chapter.

"You Can't Run From the Heroine" is the roughly translated title. The main draw of the game is being able to make your own sex poses. You play as the Demon King, and there are a bunch of fantasy themed female characters, A mage(who looks very final-fantasy-ish), a priestess, a warrior, a loli paladi...

nevermind that it's fairly insignificant.
But... skill and stat up items are permanent..... you should be using them when you get them.
