You know what would be a really (if albiet very minor and wholly unecessary) really, really nice change in any given upcoming game? http://www.majhost.com/gallery/Metroid-X/Gibbard/nogender.png If in the game where we're told that our bonds and friendships with our pokemon can overcome Time, Space, ...

I'm a failure of a trainer, ha. In the past week I've managed to: --Waste a half hour and nearly all my ultra balls trying to capture a full health Muk because it was level 15 and I was using my 67+ team. --waste two hours fishing for a staryu because despite it being clearly dark outside cherrygrov...

Length of time it takes to hatch a Pokemon depends on what is in the egg. Steps is the one on the right of the list. Also, have a Pokemon with the ability Flame Body or Magma armor in your party halves the steps needed to hatch an egg. Ooh, thanks for the link. I didn't know [anything] about egg ha...

Breeding's always gone over my head :psyduck:

I'm not cool enough to bother with EVs or Natures or all that witchcraft, so the question was always "how long does this take, from Ditto->Baby"

Answer: Way Too long.

Which makes Pokedex completion hard ._.

I...just noticed the scheming Frosslass. What is she planning.

Incidentally I randomly called Jasmine today, not realizing it was Rematch O'Clock. My Flareon was destroying her team so badly I switched out because I felt bad :c

1,000,000 gets you slightly more(plus achieeevement)!

It is a fair a balanced reward system.

Interesting read, that Pokerbeach rant (I don't think a "shame on Nintendo!" would suffice!). The post below it with the pokedex entries caught my eye, though, specifically: Victini (494): A Pokemon that brings about victory. It’s said that a Trainer partnered with Victini can win any battle. Hoo bo...

This was the first Pokemon anything I saw as a kid.

I must have been a sick kid, because I don't remember it being that horrifying.

I suck at halo, but I buy them anyway because HAHA ILLUSION OF CONTINUITY BETWEEN GAMES AND BOOKS (thanks for that last level, Bungie ._.) . In any case, I trudged through campaign getting my rear handed to me on several distinct but beautiful silver platters, each ornate and engraved with a differe...

It's pretty sad when the common pokemon give you more trouble than, say, Groudon, who was fairly obliging as far as getting in the pokeball went. And for his kindness I traded him away because psssh, Groudon? Really? World's most badass Caterpie http://www.majhost.com/gallery/Metroid-X/Sprites/coolt...

I specifically don't try to catch magikarp for that exact reason. That, and Gyarados looks stoopid so I don't bother.

In SoulSilver I often found myself tracing round the outline of the Pokeball symbol on the bottom screen with my stylus. It was probably just coincidence but I seemed to have a better chance of the Pokeball capturing when I did that. :B I always have anti-luck with that...every time I'd DownB/A, th...

Oh, hey, look at this: Coronis just informed me that he managed to get the Pokéall to ensure capture using Up & B or A. It shook once and then captured. I have yet to be able to get it working but it requires testing. They're joking, right? I've been doing that for years, and I can safely attest th...
