Hmm... While we're on the topic of all the NPCs in Zelda being blind/deaf/braindead etc. I've always liked the idea that, in OoT, Link can get caught by the guards and thrown out of the castle millions of times without anybody stopping to think 'Hey, maybe we should actually DO SOMETHING about this ...
