I need a closer look to be sure, but it appears that Alive!Duane was drop dead gorgeous.

I guess that's his kid or something.
I suspect we'll see what tragedy he's gone through. I imagine something related to the incident where Duane saw the girl cut up by the Red Berry boys or possibly something related to Cresce.

He really does, though. Makes me think about how different people in fantasy series, even peasants, use metaphors and similes. Duane and his family don't look like peasants, but I just find it odd to see a so many characters from many different walks of life talking about regular or serious matters in such a way.
