my mom tried to call me a slut today :/ i've only ever slept with one guy and now i have a new boyfriend who's coming up to visit me and that's what started it

I have actually. My parents have called me a slut straight up because I only have guy friends, and what else would they want to be around me for amirite? (Although it's really dumb for them to call me a slut considering I'm still a virgin, but I digress.) Really though, you're right. Your self worth doesn't have anything to do with how many people you've had sex with! It is comprised of how you live your life and handle situations being dealt to you. That being said, I don't think telling your mom to fuck off would be a very good thing to do, purely cause it'll just make her be more angry at you. But telling her that your self worth isn't about how many people you've had sex with seems like a good thing to do, if you do it in a controlled tone.

Me? Well, I guess. From some points I'm pretty good. Though I sometimes understand why they get mad at me. Haha, there's more to me than what I post, and generally I try and make myself in a good light. I've yelled at them a few times, am pretty messy person, am always on the computer, lied to them a lot about going out with friends (they don't know I've lied most of the times though), and my grades back in high school were less than average. Idk, I think they just see things differently, have a very harsh view of some things, and care too much to the point that they're over protective in the worst ways.

They also don't like that I'm with Noff, but they're kind of crazy in their opinions on that too. It's just because he doesn't have a college degree and isn't planning on it too. But I think it's mostly fueled by their fear of me having a hard life, because they came all the way from Philippines and worked their asses off so we could be well off now.

I'm currently in a (very) long distance relationship with a girl all the way in Arkansas and I hate that so much cheddar has to be involved in order for us to see each other in person. She's planning on moving over here, but that's going to require cheddar too and so many other things and I just don't know when it's going to happen. :[ It sucks that she lives so far away. OKAY Y'ALL FURGAY NEEDS HELP

so i want to sort of jump into the world of gay dating/hook-up apps for when im back in california (the state isn't the only thing thats thirsty) so I downloaded Growlr (gay bears app) and i've gotten about 9 messages from strangers within an hour but all of a sudden my anxiety is just shooting through the roof???? Like i feel like every message i'm getting im getting sprayed in the face with water like some weird gay dog shivering away from his phone.

so, what do you guys do to sort of get yourself amped for this kind of thing? because I want to meet people but at the same time i'm really scared of meeting new people through this sort of method. and i'm not just looking for queer community opinions if you've used tinder or whatever you straight monsters use please give me any sort of advice!
