Spyro: A New Beginning...Jesus christ such a bad game, not like the squeals were much better. Combat, bad. Story, bad. Platforming, what platforming? Linear as fuck. And boring.

Re: The worst games thread, may cause illness
Ahahahaha! Yeah it was bad, but my brother and I still played the hell out of it and spent most of our time teaming up against the cheating computer bots. I think I played the Carmen Sandiego lookalike most of the time and put my points into move so no one could catch me.Le Great Handsome Oppressor wrote:Battle Hunter on PlayStation
It's a bad game but when you're 12 with no cheddar and the game is 5€ then you sure as hell buy it and play the shit out of it with your friends

Re: The worst games thread, may cause illness
The guy with the two guns, right? I mean the game was fun in multiplayer but in solo it was way too random with the enemies and items placement, and sometimes you just couldn't win. Besides it was easy to make unbalanced characters by putting all of your points in movement since the only way to get caught during battle was if the opponent had one really rare item and did a double or drew one really rare card. Music was pretty badass though, and it was always cool to have Dragon spawn.
To be honest I think it would be fun to have an online version of the game to dick around with, though.

Re: The worst games thread, may cause illness
I think so. And I wouldn't mind an online revamp. Add some more relics, tune the upgrade system, put in a leaderboard, etc. Would be fun to mess around with.

Oh I played that. I liked it and I think I got up to the point were you go into this thunderdome-ish virtual game and kill the creator's daughter.Brekkjern wrote:After much deliberation. Perfect Dark: Zero.
I never got further than to the end of the first level because the controls were just horrible, the weapons felt weird, the voice acting was horrendous, the story stupid, the level design confusing and the enemies were absolutely horribly balanced and impossible to fight against.
I played through this whole game, ignore the guy it is terrible.

I never managed to get into Two Worlds because there are just so horrible graphics.
How can you even take anything of the story serious when the character look like he was cursed with the ugliest face in the world is beyond me.
The voice acting wasn't great and from what I remember, gameplay wasn't that compelling either.

World of Warcraft.
And now that I think about it, most MMORPGs.

SSX Blur. After the amazing SSX3 and the pretty fucking good SSX On Tour I was pumped to try out what was supposed to be the greatest hits of the series, then I found out it was gonna be on the Wii! Still pumped though! Then I got it. The menu was neat...
and that's about it. Nothing worked right, everything felt wrong, the music was okay, but got on your nerves after the first race. Blah, I'll just get the new one and forget Blur ever existed.

LEGO Island 2 for Game Boy Color. I bought it when I was little because LEGOs. I still regret that decision to this day.

also worst game im still deciding on. its close between Ty the tasmanian tiger (both of them) and Starcraft 64. both were really confusing. T.T.T. i had no idea what i was supposed to do. S.T. 64 i couldn't figure out the controls (why no tutorial?!). so yeah. there you go.

Re: The worst games thread, may cause illness
Starcraft 64 was a GREAT port for it's time. And all the directions were in the manual like most older games when they didn't baby you with tutorials.

At least I'll always have a physical copy of SD3.

Thinking you guys mixed up Starcraft & Starfox 64. Google search. Mind blown.KevTehNev wrote:Starcraft 64 was a GREAT port for it's time. And all the directions were in the manual like most older games when they didn't baby you with tutorials.
I heard no good reviews about this and have yet to play it.Tatzel wrote:Heroes of Mana. This game is best described as the developers having taken a shit and wrapped it up in a game case.
And I heard it has some of the characters from SD3 as well. (FUCK YEAH SD3 BEST MANA GAME EVER!)
Sadly Sword & Children were pretty bad too. sword was meh because it was a remake of the original mana game and had a bad combat system, and children's only redeeming quality was nice music.
Also, Naruto Ninja Council was shit on a shingle. I felt no remorse for that game's destruction when my dad found a bunch of my video games and made me smash some of them. (I can't believe he destroyed Boktai 1 & 2 though. Q.Q)

Re: The worst games thread, may cause illness
Crappest game I ever played... Hm..
I dunno. I usually liked all the ga- Nickelodeon Arcade Racing. I don't know the actual name but it was one of those games you'd get at a book fair in elementary school. Deargod it was ugly, the sounds were grating at times and the music was just the same beat looped repeatedly. The game itself wasn't even decent. You could blast past the AI because they drove like hyperactive kindergarteners. And it was short as hell, too. It didn't even take me a half hour to beat all the courses, and I was in 6th or 8th grade at the time.
I don't even know if it qualifies as a game because I've never seen it on retail shelves. Though I'll admit I never looked too hard.
