Milling self

I don't do very well at blue because I am bad at strategy beyond "point huge creatures to smash", but wouldn't Laboratory Maniac do pretty well in a deck where you mill yourself

I have considered him, don't get me wrong, however if I mill him there lies a huge problem. And if I manage to get him out, they will attempt to remove him like a spelling error on a grammar nazi's paper. The only way I see that Lab Maniac could be useful in any way with this deck is if I get Unburial Rites and even then it is a stretch. I wold have to run 3-4 to ensure consistency, and if I mill it I would have to use white mana to flash it back, adding a greater possibility of flooding my mana base.

I know, it's just that I don't like having cards that don't actively fuel the deck's cause. For example, if I were to take out one of my Deranged Assistants and replace it with a Lab Maniac, I would be down on mana, expendable creatures, and the ability to mill myself.

It was a good idea though.

I crafted a new Blue/Green burnout deck on Cockatrice. It deals with damage-per-turn and mana punishment, with green power monsters as backup.

In other news, for Pokemon players, My brother and I played an interesting variant.
When you would normally take a prize card, you take your OPPONENT'S prize card instead.

The result was a horrible clusterfuck of "SHIT A STAGE 2." and "WHY DO YOU EVEN HAVE ENTEI NEITHER OF US HAVE EVEN ONE FIRE ENERGY."
