Already in the bug report section. I'm going to test the flag out in a custom game now that Arx Novena is available in them. The last time we sent a flag into that place, the game lasted 35 minutes - full overtime and everything, just because nobody could touch it after it returned. With any luck, this will be the reason rather than something that we can't duplicate easily.

Or the problem could just be fixed already. That works too.

They are pretty damned responsive. That's awesome.
I'm going to play some more right now. If you want to add me, it's BurntToShreds, like always.

If you go into the main menu, and then go to extras, you can enter a secret code. The code is "GOTTAGOFAST", make sure not to use spaces. On the post-game stats screen, this changes the MPH to SANICS for the top speed stat.

My name's "DrEuthanasia" there. If you want to watch me take on three Techs at once and die, you're welcome to jump into my games. Just try to keep your distance, because I have a hard enough time with the newly nerfed cloaking pack energy costs without having my cover broken by errant explosions.

When the new patch came out, everyone was spending a ridiculous amount of time as a Technician. But now that the hypes died down, everyone's playing normally again.

Huh, a new patch came out.

It says that some of the classes got an aesthetic overhaul. I guess it's so you can tell them apart from a distance. That, and a lot of the weapons got their prices lowered.

And the Fractal Grenade got a nerf, too. It now sucks against armored targets, and has an overall 9% damage decrease.

The Raider and Sentinel look kind of silly, but Infiltrators look a lot better with the red lighting and darker suits. Shame they didn't nerf the Thumper more or do anything about melee hit detection being so inconsistent. I still don't fully understand how it functions and Hi-Rez has yet to comment on it one way or the other, but I suspect that it fires an invisible projectile with travel time, and definitely not 100% velocity inheritance. Regardless, it's definitely not hitscan like it should be.

Now that I look at the Raider, yeah he's pretty silly. The Sentinel I'm okay with though. I mean, how often do you see them on-screen if they're doing their job right by popping off headshots on the flag carrier?

Well, during the kill cam I would imagine. When you see them up close and they look like maintenance workers or something. I get why they have so little armor, but that doesn't really justify them wearing what looks like baggy pajamas. It'd be nice if the whole thing wasn't a dull green one-piece with no color distinction, at least.

All the Diamond Sword models are really hard to tell apart, but I can at least say that none of them look bad. It'd be nice if we could view them in the class select screen just like pre-patch.

Yeah, that would be cool. I do like that they've been quick on the draw with support for their game these last few days, addressing complaints with the patches and such.

Running around with a friend and playing the Doombiker is easily one of the most fun things I've done in this game. Grav Cycles only cost 600 so it's bodaciously impossible to keep them out of our hands, and I can shoot down Saber missiles with the Chaingun and enemy vehicles with my own Saber. The only speeds our bike can't match all but guarantee that the flag runners will be airborne long enough for missile locks and anything slower has to deal with the Chaingun. Even if the bike dies, my driver has the Pilot perk, so people still have to deal with the automatic fire from a full health Technician and Doombringer.

Also, here's a snippet from the MVP stats of a game I was in yesterday. This was out of 30 kills before the match ended.

That's 76%.

So I finally played a few matches of this and did surprisingly well. Still gotta learn how to ski better though, I run out of energy too often. All those hours of playing TF2 seem to have helped me predict shots.
