Both sides, Oracle included, took things a bit far. Yes, she was wrong to outwardly say that, but that's just how she is.

But you can't just say "That's how she is" if she took something too far, because she still took it too far and would still be in the wrong.

Plasma didn't get away with insulting people all the time even though that's just who he was.

Well, I know the feeling. I don't think the mindset of telling people what they did was unnecessary in a demeaning manner helps anything, especially if it wasn't with malicious intent. It either makes them more defensive or more self-deprecating and neither is really healthy behavior to feed. You are aware of what you did and that's what's important, not me trying to take this opportunity to lift myself high and be all like "YES I AM RIGHT AND YOU ARE NOT I AM SO GRAND AHAHAHHAA"
