FABLE 3
You might have liked it; hell, I liked it too. I just though it wasn't very good. The item selection was pitiful, the "moral" system was stupid, the quests were boring, the combat was bland, the magic was over powered, the story was entirely unremarkable, the settings were plain and samey, and the linearity masquearding as sandbox gameplay was pathetic. I played it through and enjoyed it, certainly. That doesn't make it a good game, though.

What are you, my History professor?
I was a kid when I played. Colorful hack and slash.
Seriously, it just introduced me to RPGs in general. I learned to love XP systems, being able to completely customize a character was new to me. The story was engaging, at least it was back then.
I don't know, man. I liked it. Don't make me quantify it.

Where I come from, we call that Nostalgia Goggles. You remember that its great because its old and it introduced you to things. But if you were to go back to it, you may not enjoy it as much.
