Horticulture
We have a huge garden in the back, but all it really seems to produce is tomatoes. I despise tomatoes, but everyone else (including my dog) loves them. We had some cucumbers and peppers too, but unfortunately the pumpkin plants never started growing pumpkins.
The most interesting thing that's ever been grown in my yard was eggplants I guess. I love the things but they're so alien-looking.

Sadly I have not done much gardening of my own this year, except for a dozen or so indoor plants.
I did work on my uncle's flower beds a few weeks ago, just putting in some colorful flowers so there was something other than dirt, dirt, and more dirt.

I am happiest that the moonflower seeds I planted actually grew. Dem vines, I love them. Too bad they have not flowered yet, they are gorgeous.

How hard are Bonsai to care for? I plan on getting one but I keep hearing that they're really hard to keep alive/trimmed which makes me sad.
This is the same reason I haven't gone out and gotten me like 18 orchids yet.
As for houseplants and flowers, we have a baby magnolia tree in a pot that we haven't planted yet, 34567654326578 hibiscus bushes/trees as it's my dad's favourite flower (and one of mine too,) a Morning Glory vine, a Hydranea bush, a big white Geranium bush, a sunflowers that's given up the ghost, a bigass holly TREEEEE that we decorate with for christmas, some...Bird of Paradise-type plant that was here when we moved in, two African Violets (purple), and I have a bamboo.
Oh and I have a catnip plant outside that actually is half dead but I'm trying to ressurrect it ; ;

I had a flytrap but it never ate anything D: It wouldn't grab my finger either. It must have been defective. I do want another though they don't do very well outside and it should be out there to eat mosquitos.
I also forgot to mention we have like 7 different types of cacti and arid plants (I can't remember what they're called...the ones with the thick juicy "leaves" that retain water?) in big pots outside. They're actually really cool and the cacti make pretty flowers. We do have one though that like if you even barely brush it you get 3456786543 tiny hair-spines in your hand and they're a bitch to get out even if they don't really hurt
