I must have been doing other stuff that day so I missed the joke. And yet I'm one of the oldest members here.

We wrote a three word story about how the forum was an underwater fortress in Merlin's pants and he was the overlord of it all and if he ate skittles the fortress would... explode? Die? What was it again?

Is it side scrolling or top down?

Will movement be limited to a grid?

How big are the player sprites?

Are you using an existing engine or writing from scratch?

Okay that explains it I keep away from those topics like the plague.
The last few at other forums I went to practically FORCED you to do them and I didn't want to. Also I found the concept to be dumb.

I remember people talking about giving merlin skittles and making the universe explode.

Wow, that's really good. On one forum we had a RPG similar to this, except it weren't sprited, just animated in flash (although they looked like paint monsters). It was good, and there were classes such as foodman (healer), dickman (would be a dick and steal people's abilities and stuff for his own uses), mageman, and some other one.

Best case scenario, yes. However, that will take A LOT of work. Over 200 distinct members? That will take waaaaay too much time.

Why not just make a world related to AZ forums with only a few members as actual characters, and just make a character creation at the beginning instead?
