It's based off of one of the Total War games, how could you even confuse those two.

Eh, I call Links Crossbow Training on this one, and give it a skip.

I mean reused skins, reused enemies. Zelda reuses stuff but not since Majoras Mask has skin reuses like that been done. I call this game originating before Minish Cap but after Skyward Sword.

Eh, but as theyre in a beta, I suppose Ill "Wait and See" what happens. Not impressed so far :/

Kitsune it's a spin off
meaning it doesn't show up anywhere in the timeline

That being said I'm hype
I really hope there are multiple characters to play as, not just Link

I'm glad it's just a spinoff, it did seem out of place for a Zelda game
I think that a Zelda beat-em-up like this is a dandy idea though

and fuck other characters I'm playing as SCARF LINK 24/7

Would you really pass up the chance to play as Impa? She's got something better then a scarf. She's got a poncho.

Given it some thought, and now I'm hyped. I really want a Wii U.

Still feels weird though; this came completely out of left field. Nintendo just loves throwing crazy crossovers at us, don't they? I mean, first we had Mario Hoops 3 on 3, which had Final Fantasy characters. Then we had Pokemon: Nobunaga's Ambition, combining a series about catching and training magical animals with a series about conquest and strategy in feudal Japan. Apparently we're also gonna be getting Shin Megami Tensei x Fire Emblem, and now we're getting this. I'm not complaining, I'm just a little confused.

I do, however, look forward to the future announcements of titles like Donkey Kong/Mass Effect, Warioware: Elder Scrolls Edition, Kid Icarus+God of War, and MetroidVania.

I'm definitely interested in this, but I hope there's something more to this than just hack and slash.

I'm guessing the focus was placed on it just to kinda show some capabilities of the early build, like how many enemies can be onscreen and how Link can just run through them all, but I'd be interested in seeing more than this.

I'm not familiar enough with Dynasty Warriors to know how similar or differently it plays to Zelda.

I want Vaati to make an appearance but I know that probably won't happen ahaha...hah...he...

:c

Vaati and Dark Link are my waifus, I'd love to see a game that focuses on one of them at some point (even though Vaati was the main villain in a couple of games already) (If Ganondorf can keep coming back as the big bad then Vaati deserves another appearance).

Here's how Dynasty Warriors/ Musou games usually play:
-hack n slash through hordes of basic enemies
-hack n slash through hordes of enemies and a few big enemies/ sub-bosses
-hack n slash against a boss
