Unexpected encounters

So today I ran into two golden orb weaver nests by accident while being stuck inside a confined area. I don't think I have ever stripped my shirt off that fast before in my entire life.

I was still telling my mum to check my hair and back 10 minutes after it happened because I swear I could still feel something on me. *pussy*

SO, let's hear of the delightful stories you guys have had with encounters with spiders/bears/pokemon, etc.

So, back when I lived in Baton Rouge, Lousiana, I sold lemonade every once and while for some spare cash. One time, I was sitting out there, and felt something on my leg. Turns out it's two baby wasps. I freak out, shake one off, and not realize there another till I go inside and it bites me. It got the death penalty.

I swear every summer I see like five bees hanging around in my shed in the backyard. That's probably why I hate going in there so much. And my dad is always yelling at me for not wanting to go in there.

This one time I was getting out of the shower

I got out and was just about to put a towel on when I slowly turn to the side and see a spider the size of something very large standing directly behind me. I jumped like a foot and then threw my towel over the spider to trap it. I then proceeded to mercilessly beat every inch of the towel with a shoe because I would have screamed if I lifted the towel and it was still alive.

Everything's scarier when you're naked.

Mugget I can't blame you, I'd be flipping out too.

Last semester in the middle of the night I was having some aches so I decided to take some medicine for them. I get up, walk over to my desk, and look through mah peelz to find the right ones, and as soon as I pick them up a BIG booty HOUSE CENTIPEDE shoots out from behind the bottle. I screamed like a small child and my roommate woke up and squished it for me (I love her so much).

When I was little, I was outside playing in my yard. Suddenly, I noticed a little garter snake. I reached down, picked it up, and the bloody thing bit me. Ever since then I have had an irrational fear of all snakes.

I still feel like there's something on me and it's what, 1am? ONLY IN AUSTRALIA.

I remember this one encounter with a centipede where I went to go get a drink from the tap near our bathroom and the lights were off so when I went to take a slurp I saw this HUGE FUCKING black thing and I never in my life jumped back so far when I turned on the light.

I was once heading into my basement (which is finished) to play a video game or something, and a noticed a funny looking leaf on the floor. "Hey," I thought to myself, "that looks kind of like a frog".

It turns out it was a frog.

I have no idea how it got into my basement but it was awesome.

Of course I let it outside after I found it, though.

I have a story to share also. Back when I lived with my parents, I went to my room and lied down on my bed. Since it was under the roof, the ceiling was diagonal. So where my bed was, the ceiling diagonal connected to the wall behind it. So, I went to said room and lied down, with my eyes closed. After a few seconds I open them, and see a huge booty spider in the diagonal very close to me. First few seconds I did nothing, pure shock. Then I rolled out of the bed, nearly screaming, and grabbed the vacuum cleaner.
The vacuum cleaner was my best friend... until we got this one female cat. After that she always ate the various bugs :awesome:

Don't worry, Yohsi, I'm the same way with bees. I haven't even been stung and they make me scream like a little girl.
